My name is Chrissy. I am a petite (less than 5 feet tall) Filipina-American, California gal originally from Chicago. I’m a mom, registered nurse, cake designer, shopping fanatic and avid fashion lover. This is my way of sharing the things I love. Times can be rough and I want to help women use what I know to feel great about themselves, find ways to achieve their own goals with the money saving shopping strategies, hacks and travel ideas that I use.
Growing up in Chicago, I always had four “true seasons” to dress up for. So, I had a lot of fun changing outfits with the seasons. My love for fashion started from a love of bargain-shopping that I learned from my late mother. She knew how to “extreme coupon” before the term was even invented. She taught me how to buy only from the clearance racks at department stores and wait for things to go on sale. I now use the same couponing principles with online purchases as well.
My friends and family used to always ask me “Why are you always so dressed up?” My answer is always the same: “because dressing up makes me feel great, you won’t believe the deal I got for this outfit!”. I believe that “life is a party” so why not dress up for it!
