I used to do a lot of serious “extreme couponing”. But, who has time to clip coupons, organize and place these in envelopes or binders? So, I condensed my extreme strategy to this: Sign up for an extreme couponing newsletter. My favorite one is from “Mommyluvs2save”. http://www.mommyluvs2save.com/ This newsletter sends me deals and I just act upon it if it seems like I have the time to complete the specific deal. For example, below is a common extreme couponing situation that I use to stockpile my toothpastes. I always get my toothpastes, shampoos and soaps for almost FREE!

This store is the place that you can get the most amazing finds for the most amazing prices. Yes, the items are gently used. Some are brand-new with tags. But, lots of brand name items for less than $10 a piece. I usually go when there is a extra 50% off clearance sale and then use my extra 20% off discount for being a rewards member. I also re-sell some of my items here and get store credit for shopping as well. Pictured below is my fitting room try-on items that I did end up buying.
